And then it was November….

As we got ready to go to sleep (hah!), my roommate and I were noting (yet again) how fast the semester has flown by. We register for classes soon and actually cannot fathom where the time has gone.  College life has felt like forever and also no time at all.  At any rate, I've taken a lot of photographs over the past couple months, but haven't had much time to post any. 

The semester has been absolute madness. There's so much to see, eat, do, and enjoy here in Washington. In between all that, there's student orgs, sweet new friendships, and this crazy thing people call class. 

What you see below are glimpses into a couple of things that have happened over the past nearly three months. You'll see my experience with fall weather for the first time. You'll see an early morning adventure to watch and film the sunrise on the National Mall (only to wake up at 6:45 for a cloudy, nonexistent sunrise). You'll see my parents' inaugural visit in my new home. You'll see a collaborative art project in the works. You'll see metro. You'll see bikes. You'll see nature. You'll see city.

But mostly, you'll see friends. You'll see my roommate, Ellie, who is unbelievably smart and witty and kind and fun. You'll see my friend from writing class who I can talk to about anything and is always prepped for adventure. You'll see my Cabinet (Orientation) leader who answers all my questions with kindness, keeps me chill, and makes me laugh a lot in the library. You'll see some of my crazy talented friends from the TEDxFoggyBottom team, that I am so lucky and proud to be a part of. College has meant meeting some truly incredible human beings, relationships I wouldn't trade for anything. I only wish I could share more of them with you. 

For now, remember that people matter most.
